Although I'm posting in the windows section of this forum, I'm more of a Mac user. This has multiple reasons, but the lack of an alternative to Alfred ( is definitely one of them. For the one's not familiar with Alfred: it's an advanced quicklaunch app.

At the moment I'm using Launchy (, but it's quite limited compared to Alfred. One of the features of Alfred I really love is the option to do google searches. It saves quick some time to just hit a shotcut, typ some words and hit enter, without having to manually open your browser first.

I think Launchy is quite oke-ish for launching applications. But it would be even nicer if there was an application out there that launches your applications, let you do Google searches and has some calculator capabilities. So, if you know of an application like this, please let me know:)

Maybe I ask too much, but this is one of the things I miss the most when I boot to windows.
