What is your favorite backup/disk imaging software? System backups are essential in maintaining your computer, it gives you the peace of mind that when something goes terribly wrong with you system, you can still fix and recover it. My favorite backup/disk imaging software would have to be Macrium Reflect. It has all the features that I need in a backup/imaging software. I don't use the built in Windows backup/disk imaging tools because they're hard to use.

On Windows: BackupMyPC for legacy boxes. PCBackup Pro for newer rigs. Acronis for disk imaging.

On Mac: Time Machine for regular backups. Carbon Copy for disk images. I use the latter the most these days; it is just easier to roll over the Mac and Windows volumes to an external drive and call it good.
