And what do you use them for?

I have 4 computers in my household, one for each family member. I gave my mom my laptop after I bought this desktop, and it's still running surprisingly well. My brother has a laptop, and I might give this desktop to him once I feel I need an upgrade. By the time I do, he will probably have a new computer by then.

We have two laptops at my house. One for me and another for my wife. About a month ago we purchased an iPad. Now my wife rarely uses her laptop. In fact she lended it to one of ther sisters for over a week now.

I do use my computer a lot for browsing most of the time but also for programming and web design.

I only have one computer. I will buy a laptop if I get a good job soon. My computer is six years old. Even though I have upgraded RAM and graphics card, I really want to replace outdated dual core processor.

Well we currently have three laptops. One's my mother's, one's mine. The other one's broken. She has a tablet as well but I'm not sure if that counts in this thread. We're both hoping to get our own desktops soon though, for different purposes. I'll still keep mine since this is only 2 years old or less, but I wanted my desktop for gaming.

We have four laptops and a desktop computer. I use my laptop for work and the desktop for gaming. Both are kind of old though, and I'm planning to replace them this coming December. I'm also a fan of video games so I want a new computer that can handle the new games on the market.

I only have one laptop, which is a MacBook. I purchased it in 2003. I don't have any other computer beside the laptop I have now, which it lasts a very long time.

I only have 2 laptops. The older very old HP, of one weak Pavilion series. I use it for storing some document and writing texts/working online.

The other was bought a month ago and it's Vortex IV from PC Specialist. It's a brilliant laptop for extreme gaming and that's what I use it for.

I'm planning to buy a desktop one day to have a nice work station but this is not necessity, just being greedy.

We have 3 computers in our household, 2 desktops and one laptop. My laptop is an Acer that is really old but works great and I am actually thinking of buying an HP one for a replacement since I use my laptop mostly for schools stuff. I mainly use my computer for games, everyday use, editing videos/pictures and making animations. My desktop is my work station. I am actually thinking of buying an iMac and Macbooks once I am out of school and have a nice job but for now, I am happy with what I have.

I have 3 laptops. One I keep connected to my HDTV for entertainment purposes. The second one is for work related things and portability. The third is for general entertainment and for my friends to use while visiting.

I have one computer and one smart phone which does the trick. Whenever I'm away from my computer in my house, I can use my phone to read online things or to watch TV Shows. I never felt the need for another computer or laptop.

Working? Just this, which is a laptop. I have another that works but only with a monitor attached as the display broke. Have not longer any tower or desktop computer working but the corpse or one tower.

Aside of these, I have 3 tablets broken and 3 tablets working, and my smartphone is drunk, sometimes turns on and off by itself and insanely, sometimes work. Have another regular basic phone because the drunken smartphone is not reliable at all for phone calls.

At home? 1 full-sized, maxed out desktop, 1 newish MacBook (my primary mobile), 1 newish Win 7 notebook (my wife's primary), and a couple tablets (1 for each adult). There are a couple of ancient notebooks (an old Macbook and an old XP notebook) that we keep, but don't use.

At work? I am in IT, so lets just say a lot. ;)

I have two laptops at the moment. I like to keep one connected to my tv and the other one is for work purposes. I'm so lucky.

We have 4 computers in the house, not counting the android tablets and phones which can also be considered as computers. We have a custom built desktop and three laptops. One of my laptops is not running right now as I have yet to replace the faulty fan inside. My laptops brands are: Acer, HP, and Samsung.

We only have 1 computer in the house although some years back, we bought a tablet for testing. Since there are only a few people in the house and most are using their smart phones connected to our wi-fi, I don't think there is a need to buy have more computers although one child is requesting for a laptop of his own. The reason why we are restricting the use of computers is so that personal bonding will continue. Some homes here have family members not seeing eye to eye anymore because they are all wired.
