Anyone ever get this error when trying to "empty trash"?

I was reading up on the error code 8003 and some people say restarting works or deleting from terminal but nothing is working...

    Help plz

Try holding down the option key, and then click on your trash and empty it. If this doesn't work, try restarting and trying this again. Otherwise you can try downloading Trash It which is another application you can use to empty your trash. Tell me if this doesn't work, and I can help you some more. What OS are you using?

I'm not sure what the error means exactly, but maybe the OS thinks the file is in use over the network? A restart is probably the best way to fix it. I've always kind of wished OSX had selective trash clearing, so you could pinpoint things like this if need be. Windows had it...
