I haven't had an antivirus in years, and I've never had virus problems. I don't keep any sensitive information on my computer (Credit Card info, PINs etc), so even if I do somehow get a virus, they can't steal my money or my identity. So why would I want to invest in an antivirus?

Our home computer has an expired anti-virus program but it is okay since the use of that computer is somewhat controlled. However, we still need to upgrade the anti-program to make it current, just to be sure. In our office, we cannot use a computer without any anti-virus, it is against the company policy and you may be punished for that particularly if the computer is connected to the network. A virus, according to our security, is very unpredictable so you have to observe complete prevention.
