does anyone have experience with using Perl in windows?

I tried using http://strawberryperl.com/ on my windows 7 but i get this error:

I know I'm using the the correct version - 64 bit.

    Any ideas?

I haven't used strayberry perl before but I have used activestate perl and I had a similar error.

I had to clean my registry completely with CCleaner.

Perl can be pretty damn annoying in Windows in general, you might want to do what corgie said and clean your registry.
